2002
2001 is now the second-best year
of my life, after an incredible run by 2002. Things are on the up-&-up.
This time I was still far from home at the beginning & end, opening
in Ontario & closing in Arizona. In between, I became engaged to Emily
Garin, graduated from college, moved to Berkeley, & got a job. It was
almost unendingly fresh doses of real life & the feeling that (finally!) my
life extends beyond what I can do for a teacher. At this point, I'm almost
an optimist.
