Last week, themed literary magazine Pilcrow & Dagger began its fifth year of publishing with a collection themed “The Survivor.” This collection includes Storey Clayton’s narrative nonfiction piece “Outside Looking In” about a particularly harrowing Uber ride in New Orleans. This is the fifth excerpt from Driving for U: Behind the Wheel of a New Orleans Uber to be published since October.
