-Sure, I could. But what would the point be in that?
-My omnipotence allows me to transcend the logic that would make either answer to that a paradox!
-Where would I put it?
-I can do anything.
-Being all-powerful means possessing as much power is as possible for a being to possess. It is simply not possible for a being to possess the power to perform logically impossible tasks. Now either it is logically impossible for there to be a rock that is impossible to lift or else it is not logically impossible for there to be such a rock. If it is logically impossible, then even an all-powerful being should not be expected to be able to create such a rock. And if it is not impossible, then although an all-powerful being could create such a rock, an all-powerful being should not be expected to be able to lift such a rock. For an all-powerful being should not be expected to be able to perform impossible tasks. So, this paradox is based on an inadequate understanding of what it means to be all-powerful.
