Left to right, it's DK, Fish, Jaque, & Gris.
This has got to be one of the best "everybody in their element" pictures of all time.
DK looks like he's about to have a giggling fit. Fish is content & kickin'
back, or one might daresay, kickin' it old-school. Jaque is looking dead-on, sampling that
"why the hell are you taking a picture of me, you moronic freakshow?" look, with a hat
that doesn't quite fit & you just know he burst out laughing five seconds after this photo
was shot. Gris is doing his best to look 12, & is probably betting that I'm going
to pick paper in our bid for the window seat. It's actually a good thing that Gris was
looking 12, since we got him a child's fare on the train & had him pull his hat down low
when conductors came by. Not that it much mattered, considering he still gets carded
for R-rated movies. This was taken in the Los Angeles train station, shortly after we'd
had ourselves pummeled in a 3-on-3 basketball tourney, all cause Jake ditched us to play with
his space-age friends. Shortly before boarding, he told us he'd found a wad of cash
underneath one of the seats, & Fish was the only one who took the bait.
We had our whole summer before us.
